Punch Pubs and Co has acquired 35 pubs across the UK in the past 12 months, as part of an expansion that brings its national estate to more than 1,300 sites.
The acquisitions, made during the group’s 2024/25 financial year, include 14 venues from the Milton 1 and 2 portfolios and 21 single-site additions.
The newly acquired pubs are located in towns including Stourbridge, Birtley, Rhyl and Leek.
Additionally, six of the sites were added in the past fortnight alone, including the Maverick, the Hanlon, Cob and Pen, the Red Lion, Ye Olde Anchor Inn and the Kings Head.
According to the group, it would continue to focus on building partnerships with publicans and management teams to support its long-term growth strategy.
Stephen Allen, group property director at Punch, said: “Each one presents an opportunity to invest, innovate, and inspire those moments that make our pubs special. Whether already thriving or just beginning their journey with us, these pubs are central to our vision of becoming the five-star pub company.”
Andrew Cannons, head of acquisitions at Punch, added: “2025 is shaping up to be a transformative year for Punch, and we’re not slowing down any time soon. We’re aiming to double our single-site acquisition run rate over the next 12 months.
“With more single-site and package acquisitions already in the pipeline, we remain fully committed to growing our estate and welcome all discussions – whether for packages or single-site opportunities.”
