Delicious Pho is set to open a new restaurant in Spitalfields in August 2021, representing the restaurant chain’s debut expansion into the UK.
Founded in 2003 by Chau Tran, Delicious Pho currently operates across 12 sites throughout Canada.
The group offers 10 different variations of the traditional pho dish, and will use local ingredients sourced daily from Spitalfields Market at its latest site.
Chau emigrated to Canada from Vietnam in 1992, working as a chef at “numerous Vietnamese restaurants” before commencing “her own solo venture”.
Following this, she opened the inaugural 120-cover Delicious Pho site in Canada, “which became an instant success”.
The restaurant will occupy the former Byron site, and will debut for a week-long “soft launch” before opening to the public.
