The Red Post Inn in the village of Peasedown Saint John in North Somerset, has been made available for a reduced price of £550,000.
The large wet-led pub offers a sports bar and a lounge bar, with a large beer garden. It also offers a private function room with capacity for up to 70, a skittle alley, and six bedrooms historically used as owner accommodation.
Of the six bedrooms, three on the first floor plus a large communal fitted kitchen and utility room. Further stairs to the second floor landing with three further rooms and a large communal shower room with toilet and wash hand basin.
There is scope to introduce a food offering and develop letting accommodation, subject to planning consents. The pub posted an adjusted net profit of around £183,000 for the year ended 30 September 2024.
The spacious pub car park has a wide entrance easily accessed off the A367. There is a large lawned area to the rear which has previously sited a marquee and a barbeque. An outbuilding with a sloping pitch roof that may have scope for conversion to a letting.
