New alfresco cocktail bar to open on London’s Southbank
The menu will feature 10 cocktails that pay homage to London’s drink-making heritage, all crafted with ingredients by local producers

A new alfresco cocktail bar Ten will open on 8 May on the riverside at Southbank Centre’s Queens Walk in London.
The bar will be led by founder Jimmy Garcia, known for The Chalet at Somerset House and Jimmy’s BBQ Club at Southbank Centre.
The menu will feature 10 cocktails that pay homage to London’s drink-making heritage, all crafted with ingredients by local producers, from distillers and brewers within a 10 mile radius of London.
Drinks options will include a breakfast martini made with blood orange gin and marmalade, and a London-style aperol spritz using a Battersea-distilled aperitivo. There’s also a twist on the mai tai using East London rum and ginger ale, and a Negroni-style drink incorporating coconut water and British honey liqueur.
The menu will also feature a seasonal special, currently a herbaceous gin and tonic with pea shoots and lemon balm.
Garcia said: “Our goal was to create a diverse and approachable menu – from refreshing citrus blends to deep, spirit-forward classics. By honouring the roots of mixology, we’re allowing each ingredient to shine.”
