King’s Cross has added two food and drink operators to its estate, as Joe and the Juice and Atis sign new sites as part of the area’s expanding grab-and-go offer.
The openings form part of the estate’s long-term retail strategy to broaden its mix of food, drink and lifestyle operators for people living, working and visiting the district. Both signings focus on health-led, quick-service dining.

Joe and the Juice has opened a 2,000 sq ft unit in Coal Drops Yard. The store – the brand’s largest to date – features a refreshed interior design and new operating format intended to extend activity beyond the café space. The company is also preparing to introduce what it says will be the UK’s first Joe Van on the Granary Square terrace. The van will serve a small menu of fresh items, adding to lunchtime options in the area.
Atis, a London-based restaurant brand specialising in build-your-own bowls and seasonal ingredients, is due to open a 1,700 sq ft unit with terrace seating on Stable Street at the end of November. The site will be the firm’s sixth opening this year and its most northerly location in London, following earlier launches in the City, Canary Wharf and Notting Hill.
Anthea Harries, asset management director at the King’s Cross Group, said: “We are really pleased to welcome JOE and the Juice and Atis to King’s Cross. Both brands resonate strongly with our evolving retail strategy and bring an ethos that aligns with our sustainability and wellbeing ambitions.
“Their commitment to fresh, responsible food and engaging customer experiences makes them a perfect fit for the estate and the vibrant community we continue to grow here.”
The leases were agreed by Colliers and Savills on behalf of the King’s Cross Group, which took over management of the estate from Related Argent earlier this year.
The latest additions follow sustained development across King’s Cross, where the food and beverage offer has expanded in recent years alongside major office, cultural and residential projects.
