Chopstix unveils first Brighton site

Chopstix has announced its fifth opening for the year with a debut site in Brighton, expanding its presence on the South Coast.
Opening this month on North Street, just a short distance from the seafront, the new store follows a string of successful equity site openings for the brand in 2025 including in Leeds and South Normaton.
This flurry of openings is the latest step in a busy period of growth for Chopstix following investment from European quick service restaurant operator, QSRP last October.
Alongside investment in new locations, Chopstix has also kicked off a visual identity upgrade for its stores.
Brighton is the second store to open with Chopstix’s fresh brand identity, rolling out with brand new visuals and improved operational approaches, following the opening of its Bridgend store last month.
Sam Elia, co-founder and director of Chopstix, said: “In recent years, we have recognised huge headroom for expansion across the UK for the brand, particularly in high footfall areas, as consumers increasingly seek out our bold, Chinese flavours over other high street staples. The location of the Brighton site is fantastic and given how well the Chopstix brand typically performs on UK high streets, I have no doubt we’ll have huge success with this site.”
Chopstix was established in Camden Market in 2002 by Elia and Menashe Sadik, who remain involved with the business on a day-to-day basis.
The Chopstix Group comprises Chopstix Noodle Bar, the UK’s largest Asian QSR brand, Yangtze and Chozen. The group’s total number of Asian QSR sites now sits at over 150, with venues operating under the three brands in the company’s portfolio.
The business boasts a strong pipeline of new sites, through both company operated and franchise ownership models, thanks to partnerships with established operators including Butlin’s, Haven and Welcome Break.
