Japanese coffee chain, % Arabica, is set to open its first UK site in London’s Broadway Market.
The chain is yet to confirm an opening time, with the majority of its overseas openings done through franchising. Founded by Kenneth Shoji, % Arabica currently operates 30 outlets across 11 countries, with three in Japan. The chain also operates cafes in the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait.
% Arabica is known for using its custom Slayer espresso machines, manufactured in Seattle, the machines allow baristas to have a great deal of control while creating ‘craft’ drinks. It is likely that % Arabica will also sell its own merchandise in its new outlet, including water bottles, tote bags, backpacks, and trainers.
