Integrated facilities management provider 14forty has announced the appointment of Jeremy Nutsford as its new head of food as the business continues to pursue an expansion strategy.
Nutsford joins the role from parent group Compass UK and Ireland, where he has worked for more than a decade. Most recently, he was culinary lead for the Business and Industry division.
In his new position, he will be responsible for developing 14forty’s food offer and increasing its profile within the company’s wider service portfolio, which spans both hard and soft facilities management.
The appointment comes as managing director Antony Collett leads a growth strategy aimed at doubling the size of the business. Food and beverage services are seen as a key part of the company’s integrated FM proposition.
14forty currently provides catering services to 40 clients across the UK and has identified further growth opportunities in the sector.
Collet said: “Food and beverage service is an important part of the integrated FM mix for 14forty and Jeremy brings enormous experience and energy to the role.”
Nutsford added: “There is huge potential at 14forty and I will be focusing on delivering consistently high-quality food service, strong client engagement and strategic planning across all our current accounts.”
Nutsford will report to culinary director Ryan Holmes and Jason Trotman, head of culinary operations, within Compass UK and Ireland’s Business and Industry division.
