Padella is set to open its third site with a new restaurant in Soho, 10 years after the team opened the debut site in Borough MarketCo-founders Tim Siadatan and Jordan Frieda will open the new site in Spring 2026. Padella is the second concept from the duo, who first co-founded Trullo in Highbury and Islington in 2010.

The latest Soho opening on Kingly Street marks the “much anticipated” third site following the success of Padella Shoreditch, which opened in 2020.

Padella’s signature dishes will be served, including Pici Cacio e Pepe and Pappardelle with Beef Shin Ragu, alongside new recipes using British produce.

The design was led by Lisa Helmanis from Day Studio and lighting designer Dada Stileman.

The ground floor will feature wood, formica and chrome, while the basement will include a bar and dining room influenced by 1960s Soho lounges, with “plush upholstery, polished teak and blush-pink mirrors”. A private room for up to eight guests will sit beyond the main space. The restaurant will have 80 covers in total.

Frieda and Siadatan said: “We have always felt the energy of Soho was a perfect fit for Padella, and we’ve spent a long time looking for the right space. Bringing our fresh pasta to Kingly Street is something we are both incredibly excited about, and we hope it becomes a place where people can drop in for a quick plate or settle in for a long evening.”

Emma Matus, head of Restaurant Leasing at Shaftesbury Capital, added: “The hospitality offer in Soho continues to evolve, and Padella is reflective of the style and calibre of concepts that call Carnaby Street and Soho home.

“The signing not only affirms the destination’s position as a key dining hub with a multi-faceted offer, but also reminds us of the neighbourhood’s position as an attractive place for West End debuts. Padella is a perfect fit for the neighbourhood, a high-quality and distinctive restaurant that will undoubtedly prove a popular addition.”
