Chipotle has announced that it is set to open its first restaurant in Uxbridge, London on 5 February.
Chipotle currently has 17 locations in the Greater London area and is the only company of its size that owns and operates all of its restaurants in the US, Canada, and Western Europe.
The company serves burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadillas, salads, and tortilla chips made with real ingredients.
To celebrate opening day, guests will receive free guacamole with any purchase.
Last year the company saw its revenues hit $2.5bn (£1.93bn) in Q2 2023 up 13.6% compared with Q2 2022.
The increase in total revenue was driven by a 7.4% increase in comparable restaurant sales and new restaurant openings.
Jacob Sumner, director of European operations, said: “Given the rising popularity of Chipotle across London, our expansion in the larger area remains a top priority for our international strategy. This new location will increase the Uxbridge community’s access to real, fresh food.”
