GSG Hospitality has acquired The Hightown Pub in Liverpool. The move follows the recent Michelin listing for NORD, cementing GSG’s commitment not only to driving Liverpool’s hospitality scene but also to further supporting local businesses and communities. The Hightown Pub will continue to operate as a traditional pub on the ground floor, and the first floor will feature a British restaurant.

Trading Post Coffee Roasters will open its ninth location in Worthing on Montague Street. The site in central Worthing will have 72 covers inside, live roasting, an open plan kitchen and outdoor seating to the front. Two more sites are in the pipeline for the remainder of 2024 across Sussex, one of which being in Horsham.

French pâtisserie brand Ladurée has opened a new tea room in Covent Garden. Situated on the corner of the Market Building, the expanded tea room overlooks the West Piazza, increasing the brand’s footprint in the heritage setting. The design of the new space nods to both the brand’s French heritage and the store’s British setting, drawing inspiration from the Versailles Hall of Mirrors, as well as the features of English manor houses.
