Revolution Bars has officially changed its name to ‘The Revel Collective’ from today (14 October), as the board decided that it would “better reflect the make-up of the group”. The Revel Collective has also strengthened its board, having appointed Gavin George and Charlie McVeigh as non-executive directors effective from today.

Chopstix has opened a new site in Portsmouth with Franchisees Darren and Naomi Godfrey. The new site on Commercial Road follows a site opening earlier this year for the pair in Guilford. The new site is the first to open in the city and boasts brand-new state of the art digital screens.

Parisian chef Cyril Lignac has opened a café at Heathrow Airport in collaboration with LV. Centrally located in a “futuristic” open-air pavilion,  Le Café Cyril Lignac at Louis Vuitton adjoins a new Louis Vuitton store, which features an “aerodynamic” façade designed in collaboration with renowned architect Marc Fornes. 

Azzura has appointed Alessandro Bay as its new executive chef. Hailing from Genoa, Bay brings over 28 years of experience to the Italian seafood restaurant, having worked across Italy and in some of London’s five-star hotels. His journey in hospitality started in 1995, when he graduated from the Nino Bergese Catering School of Genoa.
