Cooks Coffee reports 26.9% rise in UK and Ireland sales

Sales from outlets opened since April 2024 contributed 36% of revenue to date in FY26

Cooks Coffee Company has reported a 26.9% increase in systemwide sales across its Esquires-branded cafés in the UK and Ireland for the first half of its financial year.

For the 26 weeks to 28 September 2025, UK sales were up 26.7% and Ireland sales rose 27.4%. Like-for-like growth also increased 3.5% in the UK and 6.4% in Ireland.

The group opened 11 new stores in the UK and two in Ireland during the period, bringing its estate to 77 and 20 sites respectively. 

Additionally, sales from outlets opened since April 2024 contributed 36% of revenue to date in FY26.

Cooks Coffee also reported a record weekly sales figure of £870,000 across the UK and Ireland during the half year.

Aiden Keegan, chief executive, said: “We are pleased to report strong momentum across the Group in the first half of FY26, with systemwide sales up 26.9% and a record weekly performance of £0.9m during the period. Ireland continues to outperform, with like-for-like growth of 6.4% and the success of our new Mallow store setting benchmarks for the brand.”
