Watkins said: “After 18 fantastic years I am will be swapping my whites to concentrate on other business interests. It is with a heavy heart that I decided to move on from JSW, mainly because it is still a fantastically profitable business.”

James Davies, director of Fleurets, added: “Whilst the property is marketed on a freehold basis, with the right partner tenant, our client would also consider granting a new lease. This is a profitable business and a great opportunity with turnover, to 31 December 2017, at £512,000, net of VAT, operating with reduced weekly trading hours.

“This is a fascinating and beautiful building, not only does it possess all the charm of a 17th Century coaching inn, but also possesses a well and three tunnels to other buildings, including a former nunnery.”
