German Doner Kebab to open at Skelton Lake Services in December

German Doner Kebab is to open a restaurant at Skelton Lake Services in December, extending the chain’s motorway footprint and creating about 30 jobs at one of Yorkshire’s busiest roadside stops.
The site will be the company’s fifth within the Extra Motorway Service Area network, joining restaurants in Baldock, Cambridge and Peterborough, with a further location at Cobham due to open this winter. The Skelton Lake outlet will offer dine-in and takeaway options seven days a week.
German Doner Kebab positions its menu as a modern take on the traditional kebab, using halal meats, salads sourced from local suppliers and a toasted sesame waffle bread. The brand says demand from travellers and commuters has supported its expansion across service areas.
