Stonegate Group has officially opened its new concept, Rita’s Beerhall and Ballroom, in Leeds, following a £1m investment to transform the city centre location into a “beerhall for cocktail lovers”.
The pub company’s aim is that the new venue will become “famous for its seven day a week programme of live music and entertainment”.
Guests can expect solo artists, duets, duelling pianos, live bands and DJs throughout the week. There will also be a monthly film club and big events – from sport to reality TV finals – will be shown on the big screen.
Rita’s also serves pizzas, which are available as giant slices or XXL 24-inch sharers, as well as build-your-own sundaes, cocktails and tequila-based slushies.
Stonegate Group’s portfolio comprises over 4,500 sites, split across managed, operator-led, and leased and tenanted businesses.
The managed pubs division, which employs over 16,000 people, is split into branded and traditional pubs, bars and venues. The branded division is made up of Slug and Lettuce, Popworld and Be At One.
The leased and tenanted estate, Stonegate Pub Partners, is made up of over 3,000 diverse sites, whilst operator-led Craft Union is currently made up of over 500 community pubs.
