Busaba will focus on London and the surrounding areas for new openings, as its latest restaurant in Essex’s Lakeside Shopping Centre has proved successful. The news comes after the group had to close its Cardiff and Oxford restaurants last year to cut costs, as turnover dipped from £21.2m in 2022 to £21.1m for the year to 17 September 2023.

Little Door and Co. will open its fifth site on Carnaby’s Kingly Street in June. Once open, the group will have over 150 employees and will be on course to deliver a turnover of £12m for 2024. The 3,400 sq ft, 180-capacity site at 9 Kingly Street is spread over two floors with additional terrace seating out front.
