Heartwood acquires The White Hart in Lymington

Heartwood Collection has extended its portfolio with the acquisition of a new pub, The White Hart in Lymington, for an undisclosed sum.

The acquisition is part of the group’s growth plans, which remains on track to grow to over 60 sites by 2027.

Dating back to the 1700’s this historic pub is located on the edge of the New Forest and marks Heartwood Inn’s third site in Hampshire, joining The Oaks in Highcliffe and The Ropemaker in Emsworth.

The pub will also feature a “welcoming” bar, a dining room and an outdoor space for al fresco dining.

Additionally, the group will also offer guests a seasonally changing menu which has been curated in line with its ethos for delivering sustainable, fresh food. It will also include a wine list alongside cask ales, beers and cocktails.

Richard Ferrier, CEO of Heartwood Collection, said: “Delighted to be adding another freehold pub to the Group. Grateful to our property team led by Ed Little for getting our 45th overall site and 31st Heartwood Inn over the line. Lots more to come over the next few weeks and months as we look to grow to 60 sites.”
