Bristolās first pizza and craft beer restaurant, Beerd Craft Beer and Pizza, has recently been brought to market for an undisclosed amount.Ā Ā
The venue, which has been nominated for the Uber Eats āRestaurant of the Yearā 2022 award, is positioned in the historic area of St Michaelās Hill in Bristol, within walking distance of the city centre, harbourside and the suburb of Clifton.Ā
In addition, the restaurant is also said to be popular among hospital staff and local students as it is close to Cotham Hill, Park Street, Bristol University and the Bristol Royal Infirmary.Ā
Saoirse Duddy, business agent in Christie and Coās hospitality team, said: āSince the current owners took over the venue in 2018, Beerd has become a thriving restaurant and takeaway business, which remained resilient throughout the pandemic. However, the owners have decided to take a hiatus and pass the remainder of their 20-year lease to a new owner.Ā
āThis has created an incredible opportunity for someone to take on a highly profitable business in the bustling area of St Michaelās Hill, leading to Cotham Hill and Whiteladies Road. Beerd has built a strong takeaway partnership with Uber Eats which has provided a stable second income stream alongside the restaurant.āĀ
She added: āHowever, there is significant opportunity for a new owner to expand and grow the business by developing the large, unused lower ground floor and outdoor space to the rear which has beer garden potential, and look to extend the opening hours past 10pm.ā
