Beef and Bass has opened its first standalone restaurant on King’s Road, marking the latest food and drink launch across the Sloane Stanley Estate in Chelsea. The restaurant has taken 4,512 sq ft at 356–360 King’s Road and focuses on premium beef cuts and wild sea bass. The site includes an open kitchen with a charcoal grill, a private dining room and a 14-cover speakeasy-style bar.
Beef and Bass was founded by Alessandro Verdenelli, who is behind KX Private Members’ Club, and Daniele Pampagnin. The opening is the brand’s first permanent restaurant site.
It adds to a growing line-up of dining venues across the Sloane Stanley Estate, which also includes The Chelsea Grill, Claude Bosi’s Josephine, Beaufort House, Bluebird, Alley Cats and Pizza Pilgrims.
Daniele Pampagnin, founder of Beef and Bass, said: “Launching Beef and Bass on the King’s Road felt like a natural fit. When opening a debut restaurant, location is everything, and the energy, community, and prestige of the Sloane Stanley Estate make it the perfect home for us. We’re thrilled to bring our vision to life here.”
Hannah Grievson, property director at Sloane Stanley, added: “The arrival of Beef and Bass highlights Sloane Stanley’s ongoing ability to attract and support some of London’s most exciting new dining concepts.
“Its decision to open a debut restaurant here not only enriches the local F&B scene but also reflects the confidence that emerging brands have in using our estate as a launchpad for innovative ideas. We’re thrilled to welcome Beef and Bass and look forward to seeing the restaurant thrive.”
The launch follows the recent opening of The Chelsea Grill, another new neighbourhood restaurant on the estate’s stretch of King’s Road.
