The Senate, a bistro located in central Cambridge, is available via leisure property agency Fleurets, the leasehold is available off a guide price of £225,000.

The restaurant, which has been under the ownership and run by the same family for over 40 years, overlooks Senate House, which hosts the university’s graduation ceremonies. King’s College, widely renowned for its choir and chapel, notably the subject of the BBC’s Carols from King’s broadcast. Great St Mary’s Church is opposite the available restaurant, the gates of which are plastered with music and entertainment events.

Tom Cormie of Fleurets said: “This is an extremely unique opportunity as rarely do Cambridge city centre units become available along or adjoining King’s Parade. Any prospective operator will undoubtedly benefit from both tourist and student trade.”
