Bar 6 Group has announced it is to launch its third Near & Far bar in Camden following venues in Angel and Peckham Levels.
The new bar will be located opposite The Stables and iconic music venue the Roundhouse, and set over four floors holding 180 guests, offering a lounge area, two bars and a covered roof terrace.
Near & Far’s cocktail menu is inspired by world travels while the bar will serve a menu of Mexican street food served daily by Elote, a pop-up kitchen. The bar will soft launch from 6 March till 13 March, offering 25% off all food and drink whilst the bar and kitchen tests the system for full public opening Friday 15 March.
Sarah Holgate, creative director of Bar 6 Group, told Catering Today: “We cannot wait to launch our flagship Near & Far bar in Camden. Starting from a totally outdoor site in the middle of a roundabout, now moving on to our third Near & Far location feels like a dream.
“We’ll have the space and flexibility to give Camden a new injection of energy providing casual drinkers and diners with an unique experience like no other in the area.”
Alex Hutton, head chef and owner of Elote said: “We are so excited to be collaborating with Near & Far in their flagship site. Our style of Mexican food fits perfectly with the Californian vibe of the bar and of course, the cocktails. We’re looking forward to serving up dishes for all seasons and occasions.”
