English professional footballer Dele Alli has partnered with Tindle as an impact investor in the plant-based meat alternative ahead of its 2022 launch.

Tindle, a plant-based chicken substitute, is made by Asia’s leading food tech startup Next Gen Foods, who touched down in London following its launch in the UAE.

Alli said: “I first became interested in the plant-based food industry a couple of years ago. The connection to the future of food and the difference we can all make in our daily
choices for the good of the planet whilst also enhancing our health and fitness is so
important.”

Co-founder and CEO of Tindle, Andre Menezes, said: “Our mission of transforming the food system with delicious food made from plants is urgent and we have the utmost commitment to accelerating it.

“This is the reason why Tindle is now live in seven global cities in just seven months with a further two to come this year. London is on the horizon and we are thrilled to fuel a more sustainable appetite.”

David Michaels, founder of Get Plucked, one of Tindle’s launch partners in the
UAE with outlets in London, added: “I’m loving sharing this exclusive sneak peek tasting with Dele and seeing his reaction to our Get Plucked X TiNDLE burgers”
