KFC and Deliveroo have confirmed a new multi-year partnership, which will see the store offer exclusive deals to customers who order from KFC via Deliveroo.

The first deal will see KFC’s 20% off offer of ‘Wings Wednesday,’ in place in all sites across the UK, exclusively for Deliveroo customers, with other special discounts to be introduced throughout the year.

In addition, Deliveroo will now deliver from 200 new KFC sites across the UK this year, on top of the 130 launched in 2020. Taking the total number of sites on the platform to 330.

It comes as part of the delivery apps “2021 growth plans”- with the company revealing in January that it planned to expand into 100 new towns and cities across the UK.

Deliveroo which launched in the UK in 2013, originally started out delivering food from restaurants but has also since partnered with grocery stores such as Sainsbury’s and Waitrose.

Stephen Goldstein, EVP Restaurants at Deliveroo said: “We are extremely proud that, at this critical moment in KFC’s growth trajectory, they have chosen to expand with Deliveroo. The expansion means that even more fans of KFC can now enjoy their legendary food from the comfort of home.

“We are honoured to be able to offer some amazing exclusive deals, such as the 20% off Wings Wednesday, and are excited to delight an ever-growing number of KFC’s fans across the UK in the year ahead.”
