Hospitality group D&D’s, Blueprint Cafe in London has appointed Rudi Warner as head chef.

Warner joins the London Bridge restaurant, with a host of Michelin starred experience, which includes three years at seafood restaurant, Angler. He was also appointed sous chef at Ollie Dabbous’s resturants Dabbous and Hide.

Warner joined the team at Hide in 2018 and has also worked in London’s L’Oscar hotel. He also opened a pop up restaurant situated in Islington, London, called Rudi’s room.

He is set to “make his mark” on Blueprint’s menu, by creating classic British dishes with a modern twist, which include Gloucester old spot pork chops served with caramelised onion and potato puree followed by with desserts which include as cherry blossom-soaked tea cake with rum and whipped cream.

Warner is also launching a new Sunday brunch menu, including a dedicated french toast menu, which is set to launch on 1 December.

Warner said: “I’m thrilled to be joining D&D and to be leading the team at this wonderful London restaurant. As a Londoner myself, the city has always inspired my cooking and it’s so exciting to be able to create modern British dishes in the heart of my home city.”
