Wei Guirong, the founder of London’s Xi’an restaurant is set to open her first restaurant in the city’s Bloomsbury area.

Guirong has not yet announced an opening date for the restaurant, which is expected to have a menu made up of local Chinese dishes and snacks. It is reported that the restaurant will open with an alcohol licence. Xi’an offers a ‘bring your own’ alcohol scheme with a corkage fee.

During her time with Xi’an, the restaurant has expanded, with two additional sites Xi’an Impression in Highbury, and Xi’an Biang Biang Noodles, located on Commercial Street behind Spitalfields Market.
