Wingstop has announced the launch of its first site in Wales, at Brewery Quarter, Cardiff, on 29 May, making this Wingstop’s 33rd site in the UK and creating 66 new jobs with the opening.

The new restaurant has also partnered with local DJ’s and up-and-coming artists offering them the platform to perform at its restaurants..

The menu will range from classic hot wings to more flavours like lemon pepper and mango habanero.

The brand will also offer a range of sides, dips, and drinks which will allow customers to create their own customised meals.

Wingstop’s signature sides will include seasoned fries and freshly-made ranch and bleu cheese dips.

Wingstop operates sites across Manchester, London, Glasgow, and Birmingham. Cardiff is the 33rd site and will be followed by Chelmsford, Essex in June.

Wingstop now has over 2,000 restaurants across the globe.

Tom Grogan, director of Lemon Pepper Holdings, Master Franchisee Wingstop UK, said, “Cardiff had to be our next opening. We identified an appetite for the Wingstop to arrive and we look forward to serving flavour to Wales.

“All diners will experience our authentic flavours and immersive environment, and we know our Welsh customers will love the bold sauce choices available to all. Cardiff marks our XX opening for 2023 and it’s exciting to arrive in a new space.”
