D&D London has confirmed that it will cease trading at four locations as a result of the current economic climate.
The four venues that will be closing are; East 59th in Leeds, Klosterhaus in Bristol and Radici and Avenue in London.
The company said it intends to “look after” the staff and offer them positions in other locations in the portfolio.
Despite this, the company stated that it continued to trade well in December despite industrial action on the trains.
It opened a new 88 seat restaurant in Birmingham recently called Orelle which it stated had traded well in the two months since its opening.
D&D London said: “Like many other businesses in the hospitality sector, we continue to strategically review our portfolio and such a decision is a result of the current economic challenges including spiralling utility, food and beverage costs and the unstable labour market.”
