Development has started on a new Scotts bar and restaurant at Port Edgar Marina in South Queensferry after Scottish hospitality group, Buzzworks Holdings, was handed the keys to its new waterside venue earlier this month.

Situated near the Three Bridges and Firth of Forth, Scotts is expected to open its doors later this summer and will bring the group’s blend of food, drink, style and service to the east coast for the first time.

Buzzworks Holdings has two award-winning venues already in Ayrshire, and the newest offering will feature a relaxed interior, showcasing maritime style, aiming to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere synonymous with the Scotts brand.

Scotts at Port Edgar Marina will offer all-day eating and drinking with an extensive menu featuring a blend of traditional and modern dishes. The venue will also be open for breakfast and coffee. The bar will offer to a wine list which includes classic cocktails and local artisan gins and craft beers.

Kenny Blair, Buzzworks Holdings MD, said: “We were thrilled to pick up the keys to our new venue and begin bringing our vision for our first Scotts in the east to life. We pride ourselves in creating fabulous venues offering delicious food, superb cocktails and outstanding service and what we are planning to create here at Port Edgar will certainly not disappoint.

“The restaurant will quickly take shape and we look forward to opening our doors in the coming months.”
