Bill’s Kitchen doubles up with Ludlow opening

Bill’s Kitchen, a Hereford establishment operated by food writer and restaurateur Bill Sewell, has announced the opening of a second restaurant in Ludlow.
The site is due to launch at Ludlow’s Assembly Rooms venue, which is currently undergoing a multi-million pound refurbishment.
Following its reopening, the auditorium will also provide live performances and nightly cinema.
Bill’s Kitchen in Ludlow is set to operate from 8am to 8pm on Tuesday to Sunday, offering breakfast, lunch, evening food and wine, as well as all day coffee and cakes.
Feature dishes include bacon and sausages from the Tudge family at Richards Castle, beef and ale pie, “award-winning” quiches, cheeses from the Mousetrap cheese shop, and locally cured meats together with Bentleys wines.
As with the group’s Hereford venue, the entire menu is made on site, including its artisan breads and cakes.
Sewell said that he was “excited” to be in a position of bringing Bill’s Kitchen to Ludlow, in turn doubling the restaurant’s portfolio.
He added: “There’s a lot of excitement around the whole Assembly Rooms project and we’re delighted to be a part of it.”
