Café Rouge has announced plans to open the “world’s first” cheese-themed hotel in Camden London.

Suitably draped in cheese-themed decor, the Cheese Suite includes a cheese hotline delivery service, cheese board games, cheese soap and giant cheese installations.

Guests can also expect a plethora of cheese boards and “crackers galore” during their stay.

In order to stay at the property, which will only be open for nine nights, guests must enter a competition. The winner will be able to bring a friend, however, and will also receive a Café Rouge voucher entitling them to a meal for two.

It follows the launch of Scottish brewery and pub chain Brewdog’s first beer-themed hotel in Aberdeen, Scotland, with plans for further properties in the city centres of Paris, Manchester, Berlin and London.

According to the group, the fully-appointed rooms are dog-friendly, with dog beds and treats on offer, and guests can expect a welcome craft beer at check-in, as well as beer in the showers.
