London is set to welcome new 360-degree rooftop bar and restaurant dining experience, Wagtail.

It revealed the venue is a redevelopment of the former House of Fraser Monument and it will open its doors on Thursday 12 May on King William Street in Monument.

Led by head chef, Philip Kearsey and mixologist, Angelos Bafas, Wagtail said its menus have been curated in line with their ethos of showcasing “the best” of the season.

The venue will present three different areas designed to create a set of “distinctive” experiences. The Bar at Wagtail, a rooftop terrace, delivers views of the city, where small plates will be served.

Downstairs will host The Restaurant and Terrace at Wagtail; a dining experience featuring the works of Michelin-trained, Philip and award-winning Mixologist, Angelos in tandem.

Finally, Wagtail said its Private Dining Room, an intimate room set in the cupola, will provide bespoke menus for “multiple occasions”.

Ed Martin, founder and chief executive at Maven Leisure, said: “Following what has been a challenging few years for the hospitality industry, we’re thrilled to be building our portfolio and announcing the opening of Wagtail Rooftop Bar and Restaurant.

“The highly skilled craftsmanship of Philip and Angelos, coupled with the breath-taking views from this iconic building, will ensure Wagtail is a luxury experience like no other.”
