The Seren Collection, a collection of high-quality restaurants and hotels based in South West Wales, has appointed Mourad Ben Tefka as its new director of restaurants.
Tefka joined the organisation following 18 years at Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Oxford, where he originally joined as restaurant manager before becoming restaurant director in 2010.
In his new role, Tefka will assist the business’ leaders in ensuring the implementation of the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction across all four establishments in the collection, including the Michelin Starred Beach House Restaurant on Gower Peninsular.
Co-owners Neil and Zoe Kedward will join Tefka as part of the collection’s newly formed executive management board.
Tefka said: “I am thrilled to have accepted the director of restaurants position for the Seren Collection. The vision and ambition that Neil shared with me, made it a straightforward and a very exciting decision to take.
‘‘The team has already achieved many accolades, and I have witnessed first-hand the excellence of service within the restaurants. I am looking forward to helping the collection build on this success in beautiful South West Wales.”
