Vinoteca has announced the opening of its new wine bar in Birmingham.

The bar encompasses a 150-cover venue with an on-site wine shop, set across 4,500 sq ft.

It follows the opening of six Vinotecas throughout London over the past 17 years.

It features a drinks list of over 200 wines including organic and bio-dynamic varieties from all over the world, served by the glass or bottle.

Founder, Charlie Young, said: “It’s been very exciting seeing the space come to life, and we’ve loved meeting local suppliers, neighbours and future Vinoteca visitors.

“It has been clear to see how Birmingham has earned its reputation as a leading location for hospitality and leisure, and we could not be more excited for it to become part of that scene here.”

Rob Groves, regional development director at Paradise Birmingham development manager MEPC, added: “Vinoteca is a fine and very welcome addition to Birmingham’s culinary landscape and is the fourth new restaurant to arrive at Paradise in the past two years.”
