Padstow-based The Pig restaurant with rooms has appointed Stephanie Beresforde as its new restaurant manager.

Beresforde will be part of the opening team at the Pig at Harlyn Bay, which is set to open in June next year.

Prior to her new position, she joined Jean-Georges at the Connaught holding the role as assistant restaurant director, which she left in 2018.

The Harlyn Bay restaurant with rooms includes 30 bedrooms within a 16th century property with features from medieval, Georgian and Jacobean periods.

Announcing the appointment on Instagram, Beresforde said: “I started my new role at The Pig, and will be the opening restaurant manager of the new Pig-At Harlyn Bay, due to open by Summer next year. To say I’m excitement would be a huge understatement.”

“Can’t wait to spend the next 3 months in this incredible building, training at The Pig- At Bridge Place, and even more excited to be finally heading back home to Padstow in a couple of months.”
