Sushidog has announced the opening of its second site in Covent Garden, amid plans for future expansion across the capital.
The 300 sq ft unit will be the first bricks and mortar site for the brand.
SushiDog was founded in August 2017 by Greg Ilsen and Nick Goldstein, who later started trading in Westfield London in May 2018.
In response to its “surging popularity” in Westfield, the duo decided to expand the site across London.
They said: “We’ve been delighted with how our concept has worked at Westfield London.
“What’s been great to see is that we appeal to such a wide range of demographic; everyone from local office workers to children.”
They added: “We’ve had a lot of demand to bring our concept to the Covent Garden area so we’re really excited about opening up our second store there in March 2020.
“We’re looking to apply our bright and bold brand colours, aiming to make it warm and inviting inside for our customers!”
Danielle Leslie, a surveyor at Restaurant Property, a London-based restaurant agency, acted for YOLO, the former dessert-only bar and seller of the new site.
