Danish-Japanese restaurant group, Sticks’n’Sushi, has announced the opening of its biggest restaurant yet in Kingston-upon-Thames, which already has booking available starting from Monday 11 October.
The 220-cover restaurant, which is located on the corner of Wood Street and Clarence Street in the historic Bentall Centre, is set over two spacious floors with a large external terrace.
A private dining room – sectioned off from the spacious main restaurant – provides an intimate setting for guests to enjoy gatherings, celebrations and business meetings, ensuring every occasion is “elevated to an unforgettable dining experience”.
The space boasts an abundance of natural light and creates an atmosphere that is “as sophisticated and welcoming as the service”, embodying the renowned Japanese concept of ‘Omotenashi’ – to wholeheartedly look after each and every guest.
According to the brand, the new restaurant has been designed with a balance of Japanese minimalism and Scandinavian elegance in mind. The first floor features warm, earthy tones and natural materials, with an ambiance that focuses on intimate and sophisticated dining.
The Kingston design has been curated in collaboration with longstanding partners Diener and Diener, who have a “mutual understanding of Sticks’n’Sushi DNA”, having worked with the restaurant group for nearly 30 years.
The new restaurant will be open for dining seven days a week. Collection will be available from opening and delivery of takeaway will also be available from 16 October.
