Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana has announced it is due to open in Harborne, Birmingham, in the former Hawkshead bar at 77 High Street this July.

The Neapolitan pizza restaurant first opened in Ancoats in 2015 and has since opened more sites, with the Harborne location soon to be its third location in Birmingham.

Rudy’s, which serves marinara pizzas, margherita pizzas and calabrese pizzas, makes dough fresh daily using Caputo ‘00’ flour which ferments for at least 24 hours.

In addition, the chain also boasts the best quality imported ingredients from Naples, including San Marzano tomatoes grown on fields next to Mount Vesuvius, and Fior di Latte mozzarella.

Neal Bates, managing director of Rudy’s, said: “We are delighted to announce that our next Rudy’s site will be located in Birmingham’s Harborne. Birmingham has been incredibly welcoming to the Rudy’s famiglia since we first opened here in 2019.

“We can’t wait to expand our sites in this city. Harborne, with its audience of young professionals and families, is a great location for Rudy’s and we can’t wait to open our doors in the summer.”
