Meatailer, the parent company of restaurant chain Meat Liquor, has reported an increase in profit after taxation to £239,000, up from £75,000 in 2018.

Revenues also increased from £14.7m in 2018 to £14.9m during its financial year to 30 June 2019, according to documents filed with Companies House.

The group reported EBITDA of £822,000 compared with £933,000 in 2018.

During this period the group also opened two new sites, which includes a flagship site in Marylebone, taking its portfolio of restaurants to 11.

The group also confirmed it is looking for opportunities to open further restaurants across the UK.
