French hospitality group Loulou Groupe will open its first UK property, at 16 Charles Street, Mayfair, in 2026 as the French hospitality business marks 10 years since launching its brand in Paris

The company said the new site will act as the London base for Les Amis, a new international membership community.

The Mayfair property is a Grade II* listed townhouse of around 25,000 square feet. It is due to open in autumn 2026 following redevelopment.

The building, once owned by Dame Margaret Greville, will house salons, bar areas and restaurants across five floors. A ground-floor brasserie will be open to the public.

Loulou Groupe was founded by siblings Gilles Malafosse, the group’s founder, and Claire Malafosse, its artistic director.

The company operates restaurants and venues in France, including sites in Paris, Courchevel, Ramatuelle and Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, along with a boat service launched in 2025. New venues in Marbella and Porto Heli are also planned.

Executive chef Benoît Dargère will oversee the food offer at the London site. The design is being led by Festen Architecture, Corinne Sachot and Hadrien Breitenbach, who have previously worked with the group.

Loulou Groupe said: “Les Amis is intended to formalise what the group described as the existing community around its venues. Members will have access to Loulou Groupe properties and invitation-only events.”
