Company of Cooks has been appointed as the new hospitality and catering partner for No.4 Hamilton Place, the London headquarters of the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS).

Under a three-year contract worth £2.5m, the catering group will deliver all food, drink and hospitality services at the Edwardian townhouse in Mayfair

The venue serves as a base for RAeS staff and members and is also used for a wide range of private, corporate and society events.

No.4 Hamilton Place includes a number of event spaces, including a roof terrace overlooking Hyde Park, and is a popular venue for conferences, meetings and social occasions.

The appointment followed a competitive tender process, with RAeS citing Company of Cooks’ experience in operating historic venues and its focus on local sourcing as key factors in the decision.

Hospitality provision will cover internal and external events as well as the members’ lounge.

Eve, the event sales and marketing arm of Company of Cooks, will also support the venue in developing its commercial offering.

Laurent Lucas-Dufour, sector director at Company of Cooks, said: “We are thrilled to be in partnership with the Royal Aeronautical Society at No.4 Hamilton Place. The venue is stunning and we look forward to elevating the hospitality and service experience for employees, members and guests, while further establishing its position as a leading London events venue.”

David Edwards, chief executive of the Royal Aeronautical Society, added: “Our members and guests rely on the highest standards of catering and service, which we’re confident Company of Cooks will deliver. We look forward to working together to further develop our reputation as one of London’s finest event spaces.”
