Portuguese restaurant, Londrino, located in the London Bridge area has announced it is to close on 28 February.
The restaurant, which opened in November 2017, has not given a reason for closure with its head chef Leandro Carreira said to be moving on to a new project. The restaurant has become well-known on the London restaurant scene for its octopus with red pepper miso and kohlrabi dish.
Carreira began his career in Lisbon, before moving to the Basque Country to work with Andoni Aduriz at his Mugaritz restaurant. The Portuguese had worked at a number of East London restaurants before opening his debut restaurant.
