Danish steakhouse KöD has announced that it is set to open its second site in London in Soho.

This new restaurant, set to open in mid-July, follows the brand’s first London site, KöD City, in Devonshire Square opened last year.

The brand is owned by DiningSix and KöD City was the seventh opening under this brand name for the Danish group.

There are currently three sites in Denmark – two in Copenhagen and one in Aarhus as well as three Norway premises in Frogner and Posthallen, Oslo and another in Stavanger.

The brand is led by founding partner Morten P. Ortwed who founded the brand alongside five friends in 2014.

The kitchen operations for all UK KöD restaurants are led by James Durrant who previously worked for Gordon Ramsay Holdings and The Stafford Hotel.

Morten’s wife, Catrine Ortwed is also heavily involved in the design for KöD Soho and will be a part of the restaurant management team when they open in July.
