July, Solynka Dumas and Julian Oschman’s new Alsatian restaurant and wine bar, is set to open on Fitzrovia’s Charlotte Street on 25 April.

The restaurant will be open all day, serving breakfast pastries and coffee in the morning, a concise lunchtime offering, and an evening menu featuring bar snacks, seasonal small plates, charcuterie and cheese.

The two founders met when they were living in the same apartment block in Berlin during lockdown.

Upon meeting, the pair instantly bonded over their shared love for entertaining and the lack of it at the time, so began hosting clandestine dinners for friends.

As the venture evolved, the pair sought to bring their shared passion to life with July.

The kitchen will be headed up by former 40 Maltby Street sous chef Holly Hayes, and will feature a regularly changing menu.

The wine list has been created in partnership with sommelier Honey Spencer and will feature a variety of low-intervention wines from small producers in Europe.
