Asian restaurant HUŎ will open a new site in Belsize Village in September 2025, its first venture in north London.

The brand, launched in Chelsea’s Park Walk in 2021 by restaurateurs Graham Rebak and Adam Wilkie, has built a following for its Chinese and Southeast Asian menu.

HUŎ also has sister restaurants ULI in Notting Hill and Marylebone.

The new site has been designed in collaboration with Jonathan Clark Architects.

It will be divided into three areas: a bar with seating for eight and four adjacent booths; a main dining room with space for 86 covers; and a private dining room for 18 guests, complete with its own bar. An outdoor terrace will provide seating for a further 16.

The interiors will feature lime-washed flooring, wooden chairs and curved banquettes in vibrant fabrics, with rattan lighting and natural light from a window-lined frontage.

Works by Asian artists will also be displayed throughout the restaurant, adding a “cultural dimension to the dining experience”.

Head chef Yam Gurung has developed a menu featuring Chinese, Thai, Malaysian and Singaporean dishes, with an emphasis on fresh ingredients.

Dishes include dim sum, steamed Thai sea bass, crispy shredded chilli beef,  spice minced pork with green beans and triple cooked dover sole with asparagus, garlic and chilli.

Additionally, the drinks menu will feature Asian inspired cocktails including lychee martinis, Asian negronis, and a selection of carefully curated Japanese whiskies, sakes and on-tap beers.

HUŎ will also offer delivery within a one-mile radius of the restaurant.
