UK artisan dessert restaurant Heavenly Desserts has opened its first store outside of the UK in Mississauga near Toronto Canada.

The new store will have room for 60 diners and will have an interior unique to the restaurant.

This new opening is part of a wider expansion plan into Canada with the company set to open stores in Montreal, Vancouver, Ottawa, and Calgary within the next two years.

The company also already has master franchise agreements in place for countries including the USA, Pakistan and Denmark.

Mohammed Imran, managing director, said: “We will finish the year with close to 50 UK stores and our first international store which is an extremely exciting feat for our team, our customers and our family of franchisees – who have dedicated much of their time and efforts to creating a brand which prides itself on delivering luxury in both customer experience and in taste.”

Heavenly Desserts opened its first store in 2008 and now has around 42 stores in the UK.
