Scottish Highlands hotel Dunalastair Hotel Suites has announced the launch of its restaurant, The Library.

The fine-dining and event space will open later this month at the five-star hotel.

The Library has been designed by Henley Design and will keep with the design of the all-suite hotel and will feature an opulent mixture of luxury furnishings and “bespoke” book editions.

Its seasonal menu will open with a celebration of local produce created by head chef, Gary Owens, and delivered by restaurateur David Castro, formerly of the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris

Castro comes from generations of hoteliers and his experience includes Michelin starred French restaurants, Relais and Chateaux properties nationwide. He joined Dunalastair Hotel Suites in 2019 in anticipation of launching The Library, alongside running the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, Edina’s.

The Library will also be available for use for private events, corporate entertaining, meetings and functions. It also includes a private kitchen and versatile design.
