Cote restaurants sees profits rise to £5.5m

Cote restaurants has seen its profits for the year increase to £5.5m up from £4.6m the year prior.
According to the latest figures filed with Companies House, the casual dining group also reported a 7% increase in revenues to £156.6m in the year ending 26 July 2019, compared with £146.3m in 2018. Adjusted EBITDA increased from £17.9m to £18.4m.
During the period, the restaurant group opened five new sites as well as closing two “under performing” sites.
Director Strahan Wilson said the directors are “satisfied” with the performance of the company, “in light” of the current trading environment.
He said: “In a year that has seen widespread closures across the sector, the directors are pleased that the business continues to deliver sales and EBITDA growth.The company is continuing to focus on its expansion within the UK for the foreseeable future.”
The brand now has 96 French-inspired restaurants in the UK since launching in 2007.
