Steak Restaurant chain Beef and Brew has closed its last remaining site, the first that it opened, in Kentish Town.

The announcement was made on the restaurant’s website four years after founders Jessica Simmons and Daniel Nathan opened the restaurant.

The statement read: “Beef and Brew is now closed. To coin a phrase: it is an ex-restaurant. It has ceased to be. It is no more. It is with great sadness that we have taken the decision to sell our premises and business. We would like to thank all our customers for their support over the years and we are sorry that we will no longer be here to feed you.

“We set up Beef and Brew in 2015 and worked ourselves to the nub opening the doors. We cannot claim that we got everything right all the time, but we are very proud of what we did achieve and of all the many happy customers we served along the way. To our team past and present and of course our customers, we owe you a lifelong thank you.”

It continued: “We hope that the new occupants of 323 Kentish Town Road enjoy the journey. We hope that you enjoy their food. Goodbye KT.”
