UK catering and events management company, Smart Group, has announced the launch of a new bar at Ascot racecourse.
The Titfer Bar is an outdoor bar, and will be a permanent fixture at Royal Ascot.
Guests of the bar will be invited to leave their hats behind them to “take their place in history” as part of the fixture of the bar.
Smart Group delivers over 600 events each year from international sporting and cultural events, including Royal Ascot Village and Lord’s to corporate and charitable functions for the NSPCC, Google and Adobe.
Greg Lawson, CEO of Smart Group, said: “The idea came from discovering my own collection of hats that I have accumulated over the years. We wanted to create something dazzling and conversation starting, something that could become a talking point for race goers year on year.”
